Don’t you worry, HCG Diet Drops are not designed to make you feel frustrated and miserable. It is a balanced diet, as opposed to those extreme “fad” diets that have come out in the past years. The diet includes a healthy variety of protein, fruits and vegetables, with a very minimal amount of starch. You’ll be able to eat veal, beef, crab, chicken breast, lobster, crayfish, shrimp, or any white-fleshed fish. Your choice of veggies could be beet greens, asparagus, celery, cabbage, chicory greens, chard, fennel, cucumber, onion, green salad, spinach, red radishes and tomato; while your choice of fruits are strawberries, apples, grapefruit and oranges. You get to have some starches, like grissini (breadstick) or Melba toast. You’ll also be given some vegetarian protein substitutions such as soy patty, protein shake, cottage cheese, eggs or fat-free milk. With all of these choices, you would not, in any way, feel deprived at all. You will be eating these in specific combinations and portions as outlined in the diet.
