It Just Seems Too Fragile

I bought the Yamaha NP30 after reading this review – click here. He gave me a few warnings about this digital piano, but I decided to ignore it. Unfortunately, that was a huge mistake. I like the Yamaha NP30. I really do. However, it just seems too fragile for my tastes.
The Yamaha NP30 sounds perfectly fine. In fact, I’m astounded by the quality it provides at such an inexpensive price. However, it just feels so fragile. At first, I thought the extremely light weight would be something I would find convenient, but it’s too light. It feels like a toy. The keys don’t help that feeling either because they are also too light. I just wish it had a firmer feeling to it, but I guess that means I would have to sacrifice portability.
The Yamaha NP30 is a great digital piano for those that want portability, but be aware of its downfalls. The keys are practically non-weighted. Also, the extremely light weight may just nag at you like it does me.
